Treatment Approach
I have been practicing as a psychotherapist and counsellor since 1993. I have trained in both Britain and Ireland involving creative art therapies, counselling and the psychotherapy fields. I have experience working with the LGBT and disability communities. I believe therapy is about internalising change within yourself to make change possible externally.
My approach to psychotherapy is one of a deep belief in the clients ability to heal, resolve issues and move forward towards a positive ending. I work openly with all communities and have extensive experience with LGBT people and people with disabilities. I am able to provide a non-judgmental environment that is also caring and safe. This allows change to happen in a way that suits the client.
I am a Registrant on the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy's (BACP) Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists, under Registration number 383789 and an Individual Member of the BACP, under number 00525107. I am also affiliated with the following organisations:
